Oh, Man!

Men have so many privileges, and they don’t even know it. Maybe, it’s because they were to the privilege born that they don’t realize their special spot on up high. The images of barely clothed women in media are intended to sexually appeal to him. Many great advertising minds always have him in mind. That’s because he makes more money and has better purchasing power. This is not surprising since he occupies the major positions in business and government.

As a child, he has many encouragements to be active and extrovert more than his sisters do. He just has to be out there. He gets more attention in class than the girls who also raise their hands. He just has to excel. On the front page of a newspaper, he sees more people who are also male. It’s a man’s world! He encounters many words in his daily life that are pertaining to his sex such as postman, milkman, newsboy, etc. He will come to conclude that every major religion in the world is led by someone of his own sex. He cannot imagine a religion that is associated with someone who isn’t as bearded as Abraham, Mohammed, and Jesus Christ. God must be male!
